On 16th December Head of Feeding Communities Dean Collins received a call from our NHS emergency services contacts to ask if we could provide food for them and the local community effected by the horrific fire that tore through the Rowe Court building in Reading. This call was received at 14:30 by 17:30 Dean and the Feeding Communities team had supplied 150 meals to feed those emergency service members and the community who had been through the trauma of this tragedy, many losing everything, right before Christmas.
Whatever we can do, whenever there is the demand, we are here to provide what is needed.
