NORTHWOOD GIRLS HELPS FEED THOSE IN NEED

A special mention goes to Northwood College for Girls and Westbrook Hay who have been participating in our Beyond Education – Being human programme since September. Westbrook Hay have been busy in the kitchen preparing a tasty Italian feast of Macaroni Cheese and Spaghetti Bolognese for people facing homelessness, poverty, and social exclusion.

In addition to this, our amazing catering team at Westbrook Hay has collaborated with their Charities Committee to offer weekly cooking lessons in which they will cook meals for the charity, DENS in Dacorum. All of this wouldn’t have been possible without Chef Manager, Paul Bennett. At Northwood College for Girls, Sixth Formers took time off studying to help the catering team prepare a range of dishes for local communities and charities. Dishes included a heart-warming Cottage Pie, cheesy Mac & Cheese and a delicious Spaghetti Bolognese. It was incredible to see the camaraderie between students and the catering team! The Northwood College Sixth Formers were able to gain valuable life skills whilst giving back to the local community. Their outstanding efforts to support local communities and charities has definitely not gone unnoticed
